Guess who’s back? Yep, it’s your friendly neighborhood web wizard, Tom. Some of you probably imagined I was off sipping cocktails on a secret tropical island (one can dream, right?), while the rest of you are just burning with the million-dollar question: “Where on Earth did Tom vanish to?”

After saying goodbye to wedding photography in 2019, I was eager to dive deep into WordPress. But life, as it often does, threw a curveball. Remember when Mother Earth basically said, “Time out! Everyone to their rooms!”? Yep, good ol’ Covid-19. Just when I was ready to conquer the digital realm, the universe decided to hit the pause button. But hey, every cloud has a silver lining, right? I got some quality fam-jam time, and boy, was it worth it!
As the Covid chaos started to simmer down, and while businesses played peek-a-boo (some peeking, others boo-hooing), I was on a self-improvement spree. Built some snazzy websites, had deep existential chats with my coffee mug, and oh, welcomed my mini-me, Max, into the world. Fast forward to now, and I’m all geared up, ready to sprinkle some more of that Tom magic in the digital space.
Intermission: The Art of Taking a Breather
Every superhero needs a break, right? (And yes, I’m looking at you, dear reader, ’cause you’re one too!) Life isn’t just about chasing deadlines or scaling SEO mountains. Sometimes, it’s about that extra slice of pizza, a hug from your kiddo, or just some good ol’ Netflix and chill. My break, though? Think of it as a rollercoaster designed by Salvador Dali. A global pandemic, entrepreneurial hiccups, a new addition to the family, and oh, a motorcycle misadventure.
Speaking of which, my annual “me-time” in 2023 took a wild turn. Picture this: A serene motorcycle trip in Italy, wind in my hair, and then… BAM! Day three, and I’m counting ribs and thanking my stars.
But every cloud (or crash) has a silver lining. It was during this downtime that I pieced together my grand plan for the digital realm.
