TL;DR

The offer in short

This offer is aimed at the people for whom I created the website. I offer the possibility to rebuild the website to meet Google’s Core Web Vitals and work for the future.

Website rebuild doesn’t require you to be involved in the process and on average it will take 4-7 days to complete.

Total cost £999 this offer is time limited. When it’s gone, it’s gone. Regular price £1295.

Core Web Vitals in short

Core Web Vitals are metrics used to measure the User Experience of a website.

Google use them as ranking signal, to assess the experience of a website provides. Pages that won’t have a good score drop in SERP. There are 3 metrics:

  • LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) = measures loading performance
  • FID (First Input Delay) = measures interactivity
  • CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) = measures visual stability

Google established the desired score for each one of them. A web page must score “good” for each metric to pass the assessment.

Besides Core Web Vitals there are also other Web Vitals worth looking at if you want to be sure your website provides an excellent User Experience.

The website you have now probably won’t pass Core Web Vitals. If you check the performance you more like will see this:

(first booked first served)

Offer is time limited. What’s more I offer web rebuilding service on first booked first served basis, so after booking you will receive a confirmation with start date. Currently waiting time in queue is approx 20 days.

What exactly will be done

Step 1 – I will remove Uncode. It’s really time to say goodbye to themes with page builders. They were absolutely amazing in past, but these days we need to focus on WordPress natively and follow their roadmap to keep the website up to date and at it’s best possible performance. So native theme will be installed under lifetime license (automatic updates).

Step 2 – I will use blocks plugins (again with lifetime license for automatic updates). The set of plugins allow to re-create your design. What’s more it will allow you to build more fancy pages in future – with these Gutenberg Blocks you will have tons of design possibilities. Trust me, it’s the best way to follow for WordPress.

Step 3 – I will re-optimise everything on your website. Thanks to that, especially that you are hosted with me, you can expect loading times below 1s (easily!).

Step 4 – I will send you draft to approve. Depend on your feedback I will make tweaks and then publish it live. After going live you will receive a video training – how to work with your new website or opportunity for 1 on 1 video call. Just to be sure you know everything about your new website.

Let’s come back to Core Web Vitals story…

Core Web Vitals – All You Need To Know

In June of 2021, Google went live with its new Page Experience update. The update incorporated several new metrics, known as core web vitals. While the update has been live for over a year now, a study has found that barely a third of websites are equipped to meet Google’s new criteria. Ultimately, failure to meet the core web vitals requirements means your website will be “penalised” by showing up lower in the search results – or, worse, not showing up at all.

What are Core Web Vitals?

Google recognises core web vitals as three different metrics that tie into the overall user experience provided by a web page.

  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): The time it takes for a page’s main content to load. An ideal LCP measurement is 2.5 seconds or faster.
  • First Input Delay (FID): The time it takes for a page to become interactive. An ideal measurement is less than 100 milliseconds.
  • Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): The amount of unexpected layout shift of visual page content. An ideal measurement is less than 0.1.

In short, core web vitals measure the quality of a page’s speed, mobile responsiveness, and visual stability.

Why Are Core Web Vitals Important?

Core Web Vitals have an impact on your conversion rate, bounce rate, and time on site. Google uses a large variety of factors to determine the ranking of a web page and Google’s Core Web Vitals form part of this.

In part, Core Web Vitals looks at how well the page performs on a range of web metrics—things like speed, responsiveness and the page’s loading time.

In June of 2021, when Google updated its search results algorithm, it was much more focused on making the user experience (UX) the second most important ranking factor after content.

That means if your website is not up to speed with regards to its Core Web Vitals, it may be penalised or at least may give some priority to your competitor’s websites that may score better on Core Web Vitals. All this may have an effect on your website’s position in the Google search ranking.

PageSpeed Insights

Another option to check performance is Google’s PageSpeed Insights. With PageSpeed Insights, it is possible to get both lab and field site performance. This tool provides data on what site visitors’ experience is like on both mobile and desktop devices. The report contains information about meeting thresholds of adequate user experience, which is indicated by passing or failing Core Web Vitals assessment.

GTMetrix

GTMetrix switched to measure Core Web Vitals a while ago. Thanks to that it’s again a reliable performance test. However this is a 3rd choice to me. I use that to check Speed Visualisation and Waterfall (the same can be done via Chrome Web Browser)
